Orange County Civic Center was the focal point for Federal, State, County and City government in Orange County. The Kurt Meyer/ARCHIPLAN joint venture was commissioned to master plan development of the site including a spatial needs program and a comprehensive strategy for development to the year 2000. Located in the heart of the City of Santa Ana, one of the oldest communities in Orange County the Government Center was an important component of the downtown revitalization plan for this community.
