Renovate existing 1940’s bungalow to create view to east, family room/study/ guest room  in existing garage, and new garage on site.

DESCRIPTION   

Utilizing ‘off the shelf’ technology, replace existing garage roof by adding  a Lord and Burnham greenhouse unit to create a two storey space from dining room/kitchen overlooking former garage.  Replace existing garage door with sliding glass door to patio at lower level.  Add spiral stair from living room to lower study/family room/guest room.  Add new 2 car carport with rooftop deck at front yard with access from adjacent street – maximizing use of grade differences.  Published in Los Angeles Times.
