PROJECT         

Renovate existing 1940’s residence to add climate controlled front entry, add two bedrooms, rear deck, new heating/cooling system, health spa, and revised basement family room.

CLIENT            

Professional with two teenage daughters.

DESCRIPTION   

The existing residence had an existing significant presence on street, but had no weather protected front entry.  Teenage daughters required additional space.  Adults required a spa at basement level, adjacent to family room.  Family room required more natural light.  Rear yard was essentially filled with existing swimming pool.  Solution was to add two bedroom over lower level deck adjacent to pool.  Large window wells added natural light to existing basement family room.  Front entry structure provided air lock for Canadian winters, plus closet space prior to entry to main level of house.
