DESCRIPTION    

Add two car garage with family room above, connected to existing second level of residence.  Project involved complicated foundation due to high water table, adjacency to Provincially important water course/fish breeding stream, without garage doors facing street.  Solution was to create auto court with drainage of drive away from water course, with cantilevered bridge on north side of residence.  Architectural concept was to integrate the new addition fully with the existing residence – thus use of cedar shakes, stucco, and proportions and roof shape to match existing residence.
