LOCATION        

East Toronto, south of Danforth, East of Main Street in improving neighbourhood.

DESCRIPTION   

Concept involved creation of kitchen with breakfast area at existing main level, with family room at lower level leading to rear deck.  Cathedral ceiling in family room, with fireplace, windows and trims to reinforce existing heritage themes of house make the additions “fit” the existing while enhancing capacity of the residence.  Basement recreation room adds significant amount of space without adding to allowable gross floor area.  Third floor master suite creates special space for parents.  Front entry restoration resolves serious deterioration of existing wood structure, and adds to stature of residence on street.
